Duxbury Zoning Board Sends Windsor at Millbrook Village Back for Redesign

DUXBURY — October 13, 2023 — Duxbury's Zoning Board continued a hearing on a proposed 12-unit condominium development, Windsor at Millbrook Village, to November 9, citing scale concerns. The project, sited at the corner of Alden Street and Railroad Avenue, would include three affordable units and was presented with updated site plans showing improved truck and emergency vehicle access, individual unit garages, and visitor parking. Board members said the buildings appeared too large relative to neighboring properties, even though the plans conform to town bylaws, and directed the applicant to return with revised plans featuring lower ceiling heights to address the mismatch in neighborhood scale.
