Zoning Board · Meeting of July 9, 2026
DUXBURY — The Duxbury Zoning Board of Appeals continued a hearing on a 29-unit affordable housing proposal to September 10. Vice Chair Judith Barrett said the board lacked a full panel of five voting members for the Chapter 40B Comprehensive Permit hearing on the Villas at Keenbrook, a mixed-income development planned for Temple Street. The applicant, Villas at Keenbrook LLC, requested the delay, and the board granted it under what Barrett called its "custom" of continuing matters rather than proceeding without a full board.
The rescheduled hearing is set for 7:30 p.m. September 10 in the mural room at Duxbury Town Hall. No testimony on the project's design or affordability terms was taken Thursday.
