Zoning Board · Meeting of September 10, 2026

Duxbury's Zoning Board of Appeals continued the Villas at Keenbrook 40B hearing to November 12. The board pressed attorney Bob Galvin and engineer Austin Chartier of McKenzie Engineering Group to pare down a 16-page waiver list for the 28-unit, 81-bedroom condominium project at 910 and 934 Temple Street, after one member said the list was "asking for everything but the kitchen sink." Developers are seeking a waiver from the town's 30-foot height limit for roofs reaching 32.5 feet; seven of the 28 units, priced from $360,000 to $380,000, would be affordable to households earning up to 80 percent of area median income, while market-rate homes are expected to sell for $1.3 million to $1.5 million. Design Review Board member Steve Williams said his board had "a strong reaction about the height of some of these buildings." The continuance motion passed unanimously.
